Rumie Initiative, a non-profit organization that has worked with the Altitude Accelerator, targets poor communities globally to allow children to have access to education. Low-cost tablets ($50) have been developed and preloaded with public domain and educational resources content. Started in 2013, this organization is led by Tariq Fancy, who has projected to dispense 30,000 of the tablets in 2015.
