Altitude Accelerator in 2025: Expanding the Capital Pathways and Connections that Power Founder Growth
2025 was a year of uncertainty. In Canada, macroeconomic headwinds from U.S. tariffs, prevailing perceptions of AI overvaluations and rising debt in the AI sector have impacted entrepreneurs. A newly elected Canadian government under Mark Carney also ushered in a new mandate towards greater economic independence and diversification to new economies and sectors, to strengthen Canada under a new sovereign banner.
For startup entrepreneurs, 2025 was about how to manage cashflow amid these changes and prioritize stability to sustain the business for the long haul.
For Altitude Accelerator, it was a year of firsts: from our inaugural Founders & Funders Event to the launch of Summit Edge SPV. And with Canada’s accelerating investment in artificial intelligence, we’ve stepped up to deliver more guidance and resources for founders who are integrating LLM and agentic solutions in their business. As well, many founders like Dalcini Stainless and Crewscope revealed their resilience, raising capital, and outperforming under current market conditions.
This was indeed a stellar year for Altitude Accelerator.
