What’s Next For Mary AG?
Mary AG is taking its growth to China. The company has secured a license to grow hemp for CBD in China in addition to a license to extract and process the non-intoxicating cannabis compound.
Over the next six months, Mary plans to take its vertical growing technology that is currently in its grow boxes and scale it into a 150,000 square-foot EU good manufacturing practice (GMP) compliant cultivation and extraction operation. “Once construction at its Yunnan facility is complete and the first hemp crop is harvested, the company plans to sell raw CBD extract to product manufacturers and eventually roll out its own line of infused consumer products.” [Source]

Since joining Altitude Accelerator in June 2019, Founder & CEO Frank Qin has been working alongside Altitude Accelerator Entrepreneur-In-Residence Paul Barter– a startup adviser and investor currently focused on AI, Entrepreneurship, Exponential Technologies and Industry Realignment. Mary AG was also part of our 2019-2020 Incubator program.
In December of 2019, Mary AG closed a $1.2M investment round at $8 million pre-money valuation in CAD and January 2020, Mary AG filed for IPO. They plan to file for CSE by the end of 2020.
