Niousha Habibi Headshot 896x1024, Altitude Accelerator

Niousha began helping start-ups and small businesses while she was an undergrad student studying Computer Science and Mathematics in Iran. A few years ago she moved to Canada with her family. She then decided to continue her studies through pursuing a master’s degree in Management Entrepreneurship and Innovation (MMIE) through the Smith School of Business at Queen’s University.

From the beginning of her MMIE journey and while working full time, she had built a start-up of her own. Through her previous roles and experience and also her academic background, she gained the skills and insight needed to help start-ups grow from ideation to scale, specifically in the technology area.

As the Venture Services Manager, Niousha will manage the pipeline of technology entrepreneurs from acquisition to intake to market entry and she will help entrepreneurs turn innovative ideas into viable business opportunities. She’s there to support in building relationships for tech clients, navigating connections to Entrepreneurs in Residence, Volunteer Advisors, Investors, and partners to leverage network opportunities and expand resources.

When asked what she is most looking forward to as the new Venture Services Manager, this was Niousha’s response:

“I’m looking forward to helping quality ventures at different stages to validate their ideas, work toward it and finally establish their business and scale. The entrepreneurial journey is full of challenges and learning points, and I believe at the Altitude Accelerator, we are empowering start-ups and business to grow so they can create various values and also contribute to the economic development of the society. I find Altitude Accelerator’s mission very aligned with this value and I’m happy my role enables me to help other businesses grow.”
