The Young Entrepreneurs, Make Your Pitch contest is presented by Ontario Centres of Excellence (OCE) in partnership with the Ministry of Economic Development, Employment and Infrastructure.
The contest is open to Ontario high school students in Grades 9-12.
What does it involve? Submit a two-minute video describing your business idea by March 6, 2015. Between March 10 and April 2, 2015, the submitted videos are posted to the website. Students are encouraged to use social media to increase the number of votes on their submission. Following the voting period, the videos are evaluated by a panel of expert judges. Finalists receive a trip to Toronto to attend a boot camp at OneEleven and pitch live at OCE’s award-winning Discovery conference.
