The “Trading Abroad for Entrepreneurs” workshop is part of the 8th Annual Conference of the Academy of Innovation and Entrepreneurship (AIE) hosted by the Canada-China Institute for Business and Development at Ryerson University, with Oxford and Tsinghua universities, on the theme “Building an Inclusive Entrepreneurship Ecosystem.”
The workshop, hosted by the Global Diversity Exchange at Ted Rogers School of Management and RBC Royal Bank, features expert insight on the essentials of trading abroad. Learn about economic challenges and opportunities both domestically and globally to help you pick the right market, some best practices on how to respond to obstacles you may face, and how to prepare financially to enable your business for success.
Luncheon and Keynote Address on Diversity and Entrepreneurship
The “Trading Abroad for Entrepreneurs” workshop will include a luncheon and offer participants opportunities for networking with all of the AIE Conference guests. The luncheon will feature a special keynote address on diversity and entrepreneurship by industry leader Kirk Dudtschak, Executive Vice President, Personal & Commercial Banking, RBC Royal Bank.
As Executive Vice President, Kirk Dudtschak leads RBC’s eight personal and business regions in Canada and its Caribbean Banking business. He is also President & CEO of Royal Mutual Funds Inc., a member of the Greater Toronto United Way and past board member of the Toronto Regional Immigrant Employment Council.

Spots are limited: Attend the Lunchtime Keynote Address and “Trading Abroad for Entrepreneurs” workshop for a fee of $25. Registration for both is for half-day participation at the two-day conference. If you do attend the full two day AIE Conference, the lunch and workshop are included.
