The Town of Caledon has entered into a partnership with Caledon Community Services (CCS) and formed the Caledon Small Business Enterprise Centre (SBEC), whose mandate is to fulfill the informational and service needs of Caledon’s entrepreneurs and small businesses.
The team in Caldeon’s Employment Services has expertise in various business areas including:
- Business ownership and planning
- Start-up documentation
- Management strategies
- Customer service, staffing and sales skills
- Education and training opportunities
These consultants are there to help entrepreneurs master these business skills so their businesses can flourish and thrive in the competitive business world.
In addition to making consultants available to entrepreneurs in the area, the SBEC will also be hosting a series of information sessions to guide the innovators of the future on topics including “Introduction to Entrepreneurship” and “Small Business Start-Up”.
The next SBEC information session will take place on June 16, 2011 from 1:30 to 3:30 at the Caledon Community Services office, located at 18 King Street East in the upper level of the Royal Courtyards in Bolton.
