The ecoENERGY Innovation Initiative

The Next Phase of Canada’s Economic Action Plan is marked by the newly launched ecoENERGY Innovation Initiative (ecoEII) – a new program that received $97 million in funding from the Government of Canada. ecoEII is intended to support energy technology innovation in five key areas: energy efficiency, clean electricity and renewables, bioenergy, electrification of transportation, unconventional oil and gas. ecoEII consists of two funding streams, namely for R&D projects and for demonstration projects, both of which are welcoming Letter of Interest.
