TEDxUofT is happy to announce that delegate applications for TEDxUofT 2013 conference are now open!
Applications will remain open until April 20th, and first round of invitations will go out on April 27 and 28.
We are hoping to create a conference atmosphere that is representative of all three campuses at UofT, and really we just want to know a little bit more about you. We want to make sure that if you come to the conference without knowing a soul you’ll come out amazed at the incredible people you encountered.
This is the first ever tri-campus TEDx event, which is exciting, but that also means we are only allowed 100 delegates.
That may seem like a lot, but consider this; a wooping 65,612 undergraduate students were enrolled in Fall 2012-2013.
Now, lets break that down by campus:
- St. George campus has 42,347 undergraduate students
- Scarborough campus has 11,107 undergraduate students
- Mississauga campus has 12,158 undergraduate students
Those numbers don’t count our 15,287 graduate students!
We are kind of a big school.
So if you don’t hear back from us on April 27th or 28th DO NOT FRET! We will also be livestreaming our conference, and some livestream parties are on the works (bonus: they will be free)!
