For entrepreneurs seeking capital from investors, the ability to make a compelling case as succinctly and to the point as possible is essential. New this year, Discovery’s Fintech Investor Pitch Competition offers entrepreneurs of any age an invaluable opportunity for a face-to-face with financial institutions and investors to deliver a compelling overview of your investment-ready company with a focus on big data, cybersecurity, and customer experience. You will have a maximum of 10 minutes to pitch your innovative products or services that would be of interest to financial institutions.
Finalists will gain valuable feedback from a renowned panel of judges. The winner will also receive $25,000.
The judging panel will include both investors and representatives of financial institutions.
To enter, please complete and submit the online application form and a two-minute video of your pitch no later than Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at 4:00 p.m.

Decision-Making Process
Entries are evaluated by Ontario Centres of Excellence staff and members of the Toronto Financial Services Alliance.
The top five finalists will be invited to make a 10-minute presentation followed by a 10-minute question and answer period with the panel on Tuesday, April 28 at Discovery. Finalists are evaluated on style (overall quality of the investment pitch) and content.
The winner will be presented with the $25,000 cash award at the Discovery luncheon on April 28, 2015.
