Entrepreneurs in Residence (EIRs) are advisors who work with our clients to help them map out strategies in a variety of areas from finance and operations to marketing and sales.
Corinne Sharp has been working in the IT sector for over 25 years leading sales, marketing, and channel teams both at Fortune 100 companies as well as start up and re-imagined software companies. Operating in the world of channels, alliances and partnerships and helping organizations achieve scaled growth through others is an area of expertise she brings to the table as a connector of people and businesses. She is a regular speaker at conferences and women’s groups and is the Producer of The WIT Network’s We’ve Got WIT monthly webinar series.

Corinne has held leadership roles with Microsoft and General Electric in both Enterprise and SMB organizations. At Microsoft, she built and managed the largest Canadian partner ecosystem and was accountable for the health and results across resellers, solution integrators, distributors and cloud partners with world class partner satisfaction. Along with the direct sales and channel leadership roles, Corinne was accountable for the Enterprise Sales Strategy team to build sales disciplines, processes, compensation plans and organizational blueprints to ensure high performing sales forces including the management team. Sharing these global experiences and key learnings is what drives her to help other organizations.
She is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of The WIT Network, a global and local organization focused supporting women in their pursuits of careers in the technology sector. As the President of the Canadian Channel Chief’s Council, she is active within the technology ecosystem supporting business growth and collaboration across the industry.
Through her consulting practice, Sharp Perspective, they work with organizations from start-ups through to global organizations on their sales, channel, and management strategies. She is an Executive-in-Residence with two Canadian innovation centers where she coaches and works with start ups on their go-to-market strategies.
With all these passions and business pursuits, along with being a wife, mom and homeschool facilitator, Corinne’s energy and spirit is contagious.
When asked what she was most looking forward to about working at the Altitude Accelerator, Corinne responded, “I love working within the start up community. The opportunity to work with incredible entrepreneurs and help them define, build, grow and scale their business is something I am passionate about. The opportunity to now do that with 100’s of companies is really exciting. I enjoy the opportunity to share my learnings, best practices and connections with those who are ready to expand and grow.”
Geoff Simonett is an accomplished entrepreneur with over three decades of experience starting, operating, mentoring and financing small to medium companies. As an operator Geoff has built and exited multiple companies in industries including software, marketing and financial services. As an investor, advisor or board member Geoff has mentored dozens of companies primarily in technology and cleantech. Geoff continues to mentor business owners as President of Pinelands Capital, as an advisor at the Altitude Accelerator in Mississauga, as an investor and as a board member.
