About
ParticipAid is an early-stage Toronto-based startup with affiliations with local hospitals, universities and research institutes. The passion is simple: make it easy for the world to have a direct impact on the research progress. We are launching a new public-facing mobile app to help clinical research scientists recruit participants from the public for their research investigations.
Internship Details
We’re looking for a student who is passionate about web/mobile development to assist an emerging local startup currently in the University of Toronto Mississauga Accelerator Program.
Mentored by our team, Board of Advisors, and a CEO of a Toronto-based mobile development agency, you will be central in the creation of our public-facing mobile app.
Required skill-set:
HTML5, JavaScript
Preferred skill-set:
Angular, Node, MongoDB, Ionic/Cordova
Prerequisites:
Openness to learn
Hours and Compensation
Compensation TBD (based on experience and industry standards). We hope you do yoga because the hours are as flexible as you can handle. Office space and unlimited coffee provided.
Duration
3-4 months. This position may be an opportunity for a long-term relationship.
