The Quebec Consortium for Drug Discovery (CQDM) recently launched a new funding program in partnership with MaRS Innovation, the Ontario Brain Institute and the Ontario Centres of Excellence, for joint projects between Quebec and Ontario.

The Québec/Ontario competition aims to support the development of new enabling technologies and processes that could strongly impact the drug discovery process.

The program is widely open to the scientific community in Ontario and Quebec and the research could originate from academic institutions or private organisations. Projects funded by this program must include a strong collaboration between at least one research entity based in Quebec and one research entity based in Ontario.

Maximum funding: $750K/project

Submission deadline: September 24, 2012

An information session will take place on Thursday, July 26th  at 1pm at the Ontario Investment and Trade Centre (250 Yonge Street, 35th Floor). Another information session will be held in Montreal (Date/Time/Venue TBA).
