HKCBA Toronto organizes workshops (such as the upcoming one described below) to encourage Canadian business, particularly small and medium enterprises, to take the opportunity and initiative to expand their business activities by taking advantage of the exciting opportunities that are available – now and increasingly in the future – in the rapidly growing Asian marketplace. These workshops provide advice and examples as to how SMEs may do this in confidence and safety by using Hong Kong as their business platform to cover the regional markets in other parts of China and Southeast Asia.
With strong support from the City of Mississauga, the Mississauga Board of Trade, the Hong Kong Economic & Trade Office, the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, Invest Hong Kong, the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada, HSBC Bank Canada, Business Development Bank of Canada, and others, this workshop will cover such topics as:

how to sell, locate, monitor, finance inputs and goods using reliable sources in Hong Kong and Mainland China
