Stars in Global Health – Canada Direct Entry to Phase II
Program Information
Launched on September 25, 2012, the Stars in Global Health – Canada Direct Entry to Phase II program seeks proposals from Canadian innovators who can prove a bold idea has reached proof-of-concept and is ready to transition to scale in order to achieve impact.
This funding opportunity is for Canadian Global Health Innovations that are not already funded by Grand Challenges Canada.
To encourage market or implementation-ready innovations in the next 2-4 years and contingent on 50% matching through partnerships, Grand Challenges Canada will provide Phase II awardees of the Canada Direct Entry Program up to $1,000,000 CAD for up to 2-3 years.
Because of the complexity of global health challenges, Integrated Innovation will provide a blueprint for the path to scale and the required partnerships to optimize delivery, uptake, acceptability, sustainability and impact.
