FedDev Grants up to $15,000 to Southern Ontario Small to Medium size Enterprises (SMEs) for Student iSTEM Internships

With funding from the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario (FedDev), Ryerson is pleased to provide subsidies to allow small- and medium-sized enterprises (SME) in Southern Ontario to hire well qualified students and recent graduates to meet their needs. We are excited to offer you several pathways to connect with our students and benefit from grants that are available to you as an employer.

Eligible companies have an opportunity to hire qualified, Ryerson University science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) graduates and graduate students for a 6-month work placement. Funding of $10,000 will be provided for hiring a graduate of an undergrad program or $15,000 for hiring a student who holds a graduate degree or is currently enrolled in a graduate program, lowering the cost by up to %50. The company will be required to provide a salary matching the contribution of the grant.

Ryerson University is facilitating the matching of candidates with companies through WhoPlusYou. WhoPlusYou is an online system that is revolutionizing the way people are connecting and communicating with employers.

On WhoPlusYou you will be able to:
