This session will cover strategies and best practices to follow when writing grants and grant applications. It will cover the grants process and include examples taken from various funding applications (i.e. Trillium and United Way). Attendees will learn about:
- Types of grant funding (project, ongoing, contract-based, etc)
- How to put together the main parts of a grant proposal:
- Narrative/description
- Budget
- Determining success indicators
- Staying on mission and aligning grant proposals with goals
