Aviron Interactive Inc., the newest fitness technology company entering the market, is transforming the fitness space. The company, based in Toronto, Ontario, will be debuting at CES – the world’s largest consumer electronics show – this January. Aviron will be showing off its flagship machine – a rower – equipped with an immersive 21.5” HD touchscreen, with the aim of bringing a more connected, competitive, and collaborated experience to traditional fitness equipment.
The technology that accompanies each piece of machinery allows users to compete in challenges with friends and strangers; either right next to each other or halfway around the world. Challenges include Grand Prix, an exhilarating 10 player race, and Zombie Apocalypse, an intense thriller that can be played with 5 friends.
After testing out the rower, 2012 Team Canada Olympic rower Morgan Jarvis said, “[I’m] very impressed and grateful to Aviron Interactive for making rowing off the water an enjoyable experience! I can’t wait to get one set up in my home.”
Aviron is 1 of 12 companies selected to be part of the first ever Canadian delegation to CES, January 9 – 12, in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Canada pavilion (#501) is located in the Westgate Paradise Center – Tech East, right across from the North hall entrance of the Las Vegas Convention Center.
