Jeremy joins Altitude Accelerator as he works toward completing his Master of Management of Innovation (MMI) at the University of Toronto Mississauga. Before that, he studied medical sciences at Western University, specializing in physiology and pharmacology. While he’s always been passionate about research and fascinated by how the human body works, his interests have expanded beyond the lab—especially toward the intersection of healthcare, business, and innovation.
His curiosity for business and entrepreneurship took off when he worked at CANcube.ca, a Canadian startup specializing in retailing handheld puzzles such as Rubik’s cubes. There, he got firsthand experience with what it takes to grow a small business, jumping into everything from website design to creating marketing campaigns. He loved the fast-paced environment, the creative problem-solving, and the challenge of tackling many roles—all of which fueled his appreciation for startups and their impact.
Now, as a Marketing and Communications Associate at Altitude, Jeremy is eager to bring his mix of scientific knowledge, business experience, and passion for healthcare to the team. He’s excited to support startups, explore new ways to share their stories, and contribute to the innovation community. In the future, he hopes to take what he learns here and make a meaningful impact on Canada’s healthcare system—wherever that journey may take him.
Welcome to the team, Jeremy!
