Collaborating for Innovation: Supporting Networks in Canadian Industry

January 8, 2016 RICCentre

Collaborating for Innovation: Supporting Networks in Canadian Industry, Altitude Accelerator

ConferenceBoardOfCanada 300x94, Altitude AcceleratorAs we’ve seen in the past century, the pace of social, economic, and technological change is astounding. Keeping up with just some of these changes is difficult in itself, and many companies are having trouble taking advantage of all of this new knowledge on their own. As such, many companies choose to collaborate either through one-on-one interactions with other organizations, or by participating in innovation-supporting networks (ISNs). The success of these collaborations depends on each party having clear objectives and agreeing to adopt manageable and credible goals.

So could a collaboration or participating in an ISN build innovation capacity in your organization? What are the advantages and potential risks? And how can you measure whether these collaborations have actually worked?

Join The Conference Board of Canada for Collaborating for Innovation: Supporting Networks in Canadian Industry, taking place Thursday, January 21, 2016 at 03:00 PM EST. This webinar will explore how and why Canadian companies collaborate, the prevalent areas of collaboration, their governance preferences, and the impact of collaboration on corporate performance. This session consider factors such as an organization’s age, size, market orientation, and industry sector.

During this 60 minute webinar, you will learn about:

  • The current environment of collaboration surrounding businesses in Canada
  • Best ways to collaborate in a challenging environment
  • Best practices in managing collaboration
  • Management metrics to assist in the management of collaboration efforts

The fee for this webinar is $199. This fee gives you access to the live webinar and Q&A session as well as access to the recording that you can share with your entire organization.
