BRAMPTON, ON: The City of Brampton Economic Development Office is ‘Searching for Excellence’ and now accepting entries for the 2013 Brampton Outstanding Business Achievement Awards (BOBAA). The annual awards program, now in its 17th year, recognizes and honours Brampton businesses that demonstrate a passion for excellence.
Categories in the awards program include:
- Food and beverage
- Information and communication technology
- Retail, administration and logistics
- Business services
- Young entrepreneur (under 35)
- Award of distinction – community contribution
- Award of distinction – environmental leadership
- Award of distinction – innovation
- Business person of the year
Last date for entries is January 25, 2013. The awards will be presented at a special awards ceremony on Thursday, May 2, 2013 at Pearson Convention Center. The Brampton Outstanding Business Achievement Awards are hosted by The Brampton Economic Development Office and the Brampton Board of Trade. Past recipients include Empack Spraytech Inc., Nestle, HRWARE, triOS College, WG Pro-Manufacturing Inc., Peel Mutual Insurance Company, Burger King, Jade’s Hip Hop Academy and Smart Commute Brampton – Caledon.
